This simple DIY project will only take you about 10-15 minutes to complete, but it will add the perfect touch of warmth and texture to your home decor.
Soft rope, cord, or Jute twine
Wooden doll pin beads (x3 packs of 20 beads)
1. Lay out all your supplies
2. Ensure that your cord is a good size
If it is too thick, it wont be able to coil once the beads are all on, but too thin and it will look messy and flimsy. Mine was a little too thick, so I separated the rope into three and used only one of the strands.
3. Tie a knot at the end and put first bead on
Make sure that the knot is big enough to keep the beads on the cord.
4. String beads onto cord and end with a knot
I recommend keeping the beads all the same direction on the cord to prevent the final product from looking too messy.
5. Have fun styling your new decor piece
Inside of a nice bowl on your coffee table, around a candle on your dresser, in a coil atop some books on your shelf ... The possibilities are endless.
If you go for it and make this wood bead garland for yourself, let us know how it goes and send us a photo of how you styled it!
