Welcome back to the Refined Space Blog!
A couple weeks ago we looked at Christmas wrapping and setting our trees up, but now we're back to show you how we decorated this living room for Christmas! Keep scrolling to see an easy way to master a minimalist Christmas.
Once we had our tree up and the presents safely tucked underneath, we got to put the little details into place.
We picked up a couple things like golden stocking holders, black candle stands, big white candles, fuzzy stockings,
antlers, and then we hunted down some beautiful pine stems to tuck into our vases!
We loved touches of gold amidst all of the neutral colours and natural elements. That's the amazing thing about neutrals is that they have so many uses!
At the Refined Space we try to be environmentally friendly and sustainable, so we try to always find the perfect pieces
that can be used for numerous occasions. That way it's not only nice to our planet, it's nice to our wallets as well!
We also have to give Little Brother a huge shout out for the delicious sourdough that we picked up from them. Not only did it look fantastic, but it tasted just as great too!
Christmas can often be about excessive consumerism, so this year we really wanted to focus on staple pieces that are worth the
investment. We want pieces that will last and stand the test of time. This is why we consistently strive for a minimalist and more
approachable look. Home is a place of rest for us and when things are in order, we can finally relax. So when we have
simple pieces, this makes resting much more of a reality for us, and hopefully you too!
And that's the room! We had so much fun styling this room (as per usual), and we hope you enjoy it as much as we did!
