Welcome back to the blog!
This week we are excited to showcase this cute little nursery that we partnered with @ivoryandebonyblog to put together!
We know spaces for children can be challenging to redo and to keep organized, that's why we went with some very simple steps to brighten this room up while keeping plenty of cute bins and boxes readily accessible.
We loved adding cute little pillows, a fuzzy rug to keep that cold floor warm when you're waking up at 3am to check on your little one, and having a cute rocker is a must!! Equipped with a fuzzy, warm blanket for you and your little one as well!
We loved the cute candles on top and having the cotton branches match the stick on the wall as well! A system like the one you see below makes organizing clothing/wipes/creams a breeze!
This was a small little space to work in, but that doesn't mean it can't be done well. Sometimes smaller spaces can provide more of a challenge for organization and design, but it is definitely do-able! And keeping things organized in a small space is extra important so it can feel cozy AND functional!
We hope you enjoyed this blog, and tune in next time! Until then, enjoy these cute little photos of Bev the Baby!

Welcome back to the blog everyone!
When we started thinking about Valentines and all the things that one can do on this day, we felt a bit stuck. Valentine's Day can often be expensive, there are so many options, so how could we keep it simple + sweet?
Well good news for you, we came up with a perfect little evening for you! Designed for an easy and romantic evening in!
We even put some graphics together for you to print your own little card if you want! Keep scrolling to find the link to download these for your wall, phone, desktop or a card!
We wanted to keep this night simple and this look simple, that way we hope everyone can enjoy their Valentine's Day even more.
We wanted a ton of candles, and had some awesome gold candlesticks around so we used those to light up the table and beautiful flowers we picked up. We found a cozy blanket with cozy pillows to make the couch comfortable and cute.
And what is the perfect evening without a ton of popcorn and hot chocolate in a cute mug? Those are a must!
We loved adding subtle pinks throughout the look and the room. Valentine's Day doesn't need to be tacky, it just needs to be from the heart! It's more about creating a cozy and safe space for you and your significant other to just enjoy being with one another. AND you'll be able to save money with this look while still treating one another!
If you're interested about the graphics, here is a peek at what some of them are!

We hope you enjoyed this look and these graphics as much as we did! Check in next time for another exciting post that we have coming!
OH! And happy valentine's day!

Welcome back to the blog! This week we're going to be featuring some refreshing ideas for maintaining that minimal and modern look that we all adore.
Julie has gone ahead and chosen some of her favourite pieces and looks for a functional and affordable look.
"I love pieces in a home that are affordable and can be used for multiple occasions. I just adore a minimalistic style that is still relevant as time goes on. Here at the Refined Space we really value finding pieces that are sustainable and try to avoid rotating through pieces in homes too often, which is amazing because that is naturally the kind of style I am drawn to."
"I love fine lines, clean spaces, and good neutrals all mixed together with creativity to make every space personal and comfortable."
As you can tell from the photos I've chosen above, I love leading lines that subtly add to a room. I also love using photographs as a statement piece themselves. I believe moments in your life that you have captured add that personal touch that I'm always striving to add in any room. And when you furnish and decorate with neutrals, you can add a pop of colour with photos you love while changing them out as time goes by to continue adding something new.
The New Year is getting me all excited! Even browsing through Pinterest (where most of these photos are from) is getting me inspired and wanting to spruce up my own space in the spring time! It seems that more stores are adding these exciting trends to their regular inventory, including white and black slatwall patterns that I have most recently been drooling over.
If you are looking to recreate any of these looks in your own home, there are many similar styles that you can find at Ikea, Wayfair, Full House Modern, and BoConcept.
We hope you enjoyed this post about how to refresh your space this year and loved some of Julie's choices! Let us know your feedback and which of these photos you enjoyed the most!
Until next time!
